| Q: |
I am not able to e-mail pictures taken using the Photo Base software
(models DS3868, DS3898, DS3899 or Y-cam series). |
| A: |
This feature is
available for users with POP3 or IMAP4 e-mail accounts. If you use Netscape Messenger,
Outlook, Outlook Express or any other POP3/IMAP4 program, this feature should work
properly.
This feature will not work with many commercial online providers (such as AOL, Compuserve,
etc.) who may use proprietary mail software.
To work around any issues you might be experiencing, save the images to your hard drive
and manually attach them to a message using your e-mail software. |

| Q: |
When I connect the camera, open Photo Base and select ACQUIRE, I receive
the error "Camera not found." |
| A: |
First, verify
that the camera is properly connected to the USB port and turned on.
Next, ensure that the USB drivers are installed properly. If you are connecting the camera
to a USB port located on a hub, keyboard, or the front of the PC, you may wish to connect
it to a USB port located on the back of the PC.
It is a good idea to shut down all other programs that might be trying to use the USB
port. To do this, close any running applications before attempting to download the images.
