| Enjoy XM Satellite Radio everywhere you go! Delphi's
ingenious SKYFi™ Audio System is a boombox like no other — it integrates a pair
of high-quality speakers, a high-gain XM antenna, and a dock for the SKYFi XM receiver (sold separately) in a
convenient, portable package. If you already own a SKYFi XM receiver, you know how easy it is to
get XM at home and in the car with a single XM subscription (thanks to Delphi's home and
car kits). Use it with the Audio System, and you'll get even more portability! If you're
just getting into XM's incredible variety, the SKYFi Audio System/XM receiver combination
is a great way to start. (The SKYFi XM receiver,
which is required to operate the Audio System boombox, is not included, and must be
purchased separately, if you don't already own one). |
The
System works like this: the SKYFi XM receiver
docks in the center panel of the Audio System, lets you navigate through XM's 101 channels
of music, sports, news, and entertainment, and gives you control over the system's treble
and bass settings. The Audio System's stereo speakers feature a dual-cone design for
great-sounding lows and highs. The included high-gain antenna has a 22-1/2 foot cable, so
you can easily position it for optimum reception. When you're using the Audio System in
the house, you can place the antenna on a table top, or mount it on an indoor or outdoor
wall. When you take the Audio System out of the house with you, the antenna attaches
conveniently to the back of the boombox.The System comes with an AC power adapter, so you
can use it at home as a bookshelf XM system. When you leave the house, pop in six
"D" batteries (not included), and listen to XM Satellite Radio anywhere!
Important Note: You must subscribe to XM Satellite Radio to receive the signal. Service is
not available in Hawaii or Alaska.
